Even if you are selecting healthier options for meals its easy to undo the good work by making portions too large. Pay attention to portion control and make sure you stay with recommended quantities and don’t overcompensate. Remember if you are going to lose weight you will feel hungry!

Good Foods

Eat good foods such as fruits & vegetables they will make you feel healthier and are part of the plan

Bad Foods

Avoid bad foods such as anything highly processed or fast food, they are going to undo all of your hard work.

Friends & Family

It really helps if you tell friends and family, you are losing weight and even what your goals are. They are going to help keep you motivated and are less likely to lead you into temptation with bad habits.


Don't Skip Meals

Don’t skip meals to try to accelerate your weight loss. It will simply leave you feeling tired and hungry and more likely to overeat with the wrong foods. Its much better to stick with the plan and avoid highs and lows.

Make A Grocery List

Make a grocery list before you go shopping and stick to it. Its much easier to stick to a list and it means you are less likely to buy the wrong foods.

Eat Slowly

At meals slowly in smaller pieces and chew each mouthful well. If you have worked on portion control this will help convince your brain that you have had an adequate meal.

Reduce Alcohol

Try to reduce alcohol consumption as much as possible, because its very calorie dense. It's important to remember that alcohol contains 7 calories per gram compared to 4 calories per gram for white table sugar.
