Steps

Spray olive oil in a large saucepan and cook onions, garlic, celery and carrot on a low heat until caramelised

Increase heat and add lean beef mince and cook stir for 5 mins until meat is browned

Add both tins of tomatoes, dried oregano, tomato puree and beef cube and once boiling, turn down heat to a low simmer

Add the cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar

Cover with lid and cook for an 1 hr - 1 1/2 hours until the sauce is rich and thick

Cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling water until cooked

Serve bolognese on top of spaghetti and top with parmesan cheese

TIP to thicken sauce, boil without lid towards the last 10 mins of the total cooking time

TIP to save time, all vegetables ie onion, garlic, celery and carrot can be chopped together in a food processer
