Steps
Place the steaks in a shallow dish that is a snug fit and marinade in the oil, red wine vinegar, chilli flakes, dried oregano and salt for an hour or so at room temperature
Whilst the steaks are marinating, boil the potatoes until soft and add the butter and keep warm
Heat the bbq or stove top and once hot, cook the steaks for 2- 3 minutes on each side
Let the steaks sit for a couple of minutes
In the meantime add the tomatoes to the marinade and lightly squash together with the fresh oregano
Cut the steak into thin slices and arrange on a platter and pour the marinade with the tomatoes over the steak
Add pepper and some fresh oregano and serve with the potatoes
Season according to taste
TIP- the steaks are cooked rare for this recipe, cook according to personal preference
